Mirari is a fine jewellery house founded in 2005 by Mira Gulati in New Delhi, India. Renowned for its one-of-a-kind handcrafted creations, the brand has built its reputation on exceptional craftsmanship and the use of the world’s rarest gemstones, carefully sourced and selected for their uniqueness.

The concept, “Gentle Quarry”, is conceived as a carefully choreographed architectural sequence where space guides visitors through a gradual process of discovery. Within a compact footprint, a succession of portals fragments the interior into a series of intimate moments. Each transition introduces a new atmosphere, echoing the experience of a quarry, where precious matter is revealed layer by layer rather than immediately exposed.

Materiality becomes the project’s defining language. Mineral-inspired surfaces, natural textures and a restrained palette create a quiet architectural backdrop that enhances the presence of each jewel. Rather than occupying the space, every piece is presented as an individual work of art, inviting observation from multiple perspectives while establishing a subtle dialogue with its surroundings.

More than a jewellery store, the project creates an intimate architectural experience where every element is carefully composed to direct attention towards the collection. Scale, light, proportion and display work together to shape an atmosphere of quiet sophistication, where luxury is revealed through discovery rather than display.

Gentle Quarry does not seek to exhibit, but to reveal — allowing architecture and materiality to bring the essential into focus.
